For the health and safety of our most vulnerable patients, Buena Vista Eye
Care Center will be suspending all routine exams and services at 3:00 PM on
Wednesday March 25th. We are looking to resume operations on May 18th. The CDC is recommending that doctors suspend routine
and elective visits in order to allow our hospital system time to
adequately prepare to treat increased numbers of Covid-19 cases. We will
not be performing any treatments that require use of personal protective

An ophthalmologist has either a Doctor of Medicine degree or a Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree, with specialty training in vision and eye care.
