Dear Patients and Customers of Buena Vista Eye Care Center,

For the health and safety of our most vulnerable patients, Buena Vista Eye
Care Center will be suspending all routine exams and services at 3:00 PM on
Wednesday March 25th. The CDC is recommending that doctors suspend routine
and elective visits in order to allow our hospital system time to
adequately prepare to treat increased numbers of Covid-19 cases. We will
not be performing any treatments that require use of personal protective

We will still be available to treat any ocular emergencies that you
encounter during this period. This includes injuries, infections, or any
sudden changes to your vision. I will also make sure that medical
prescriptions are being refilled during this time.

For patients that have glasses or contacts on order. We will continue to be
here to quality check all arrivals, and will contact you when your glasses
or contacts are ready to arrange a way to get them to you.

For patients who are running low on contact lenses, or who's prescriptions
are about to expire. We are extending contact lens prescriptions for any
patients who have no history of complications. If you need to order
additional contacts to be shipped to your home, please call or e-mail our

We know that these are troubling times, but Texans are strong and
